Instagram are testing out a ‘profile visits’ feature to show you how many times your profile has been viewed.
In their latest update Instagram made it easy for you to know when people are, or were last, online. With their upcoming update however, it seems like they will introduce a new feature that will show you how many times people have visited your profile.
The feature was made public by Matt Navarra, Director of Social Media for The Next Web, who noticed it on his very own profile and tweeted a screenshot.

A very prominent bar saying “133 profile visits in the last 7 days” appeared on the upper part of his page.
Even though the new function tells you how many views your page has gotten, it doesn’t reveal the identity of the person who visited you.
A new feature that tells you how many times people have visited your Instagram profile in the past week appears to be in development.

Since only a small selection of people seem to have the feature, it is probably under testing and will be made available for all users once ready.1
Earlier this week Instagram rolled their latest update, which supports GIF stickers, which you can put on your stories.
The company also revealed that users will soon be able to upload photos and videos of any size to their stories.
