Hedi Slimane is the brilliant designer behind the creative powers of Yves Saint Laurent, and within this past week, we heard some good news for the fashion giant. The house of Yves Saint Laurent, along with its creative director Hedi Sleimane launched by far their largest store around the world, and it is located in Tokyo’s super trendy Omotesando district.
The Omotesando district is an attraction to experimental architects showcasing their state of the art pieces, and work. Omotesando, is also an international catwalk, and a destination for high end fashion.
The Yves Saint Laurent store is 10,000 square feet, across three floors. To commemorate the opening of this brilliant flagship store, a very special piece was featured during the launch, a piece made in collaboration with Los Angeles based artist Lucia Ribisi, this piece is a gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent Slot Machine, in it is the Classic College monogram bag, and the Wyatt ankle boots.
