Within the coming week, i will be paying a week’s visit to the city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. This is our second time visiting this beautiful country, and we really feel like we can bring a sense of maturity, by recommending what we feel is best to experience during one’s there. We have so much planned for this week, and throughout this article, we will be giving you a glimpse on what is in store for The Life Pile this week!
First and foremost, we are really looking forward to our stay at The Student Hotel Amsterdam City, the concept of this hotel is really groundbreaking. Not only is it a place to sleep, The Student Hotel comes with a set of perks. Much like it’s name the individuals who founded the hotel, had one thing in mind. Getting the young generation in touch with cultural events, and happenings within it’s doors. The hotel organizes comedy nights, film screenings, and many more interactive activities to keep their guests entertained. Not only does the hotel emphasize on lifestyle within the Netherlands, it also is a location that accommodates long term students living in Amsterdam. The hotel we are staying in is in Amsterdam city, however The Student Hotel has various locations, of which are Amsterdam West, Rotterdam, and The Hauge. We really look forward to bringing you an honest and complete review on the hotel, and concept.
On my second day in Amsterdam, i will be attending a concert at The Ziggo Dome, an event i am really excited about. The Ziggo Dome is one of the most famous concert venues in Amsterdam, and we will be attending an Alt-J concert within it’s walls. We are really keeping our fingers crossed, as during our previous visit, we did not get to indulge in the aspect of entertainment within Amsterdam. The concert is on the 19th of November, and we will be filling you in on all the details!
The third thing we are most looking forward to is the Opera! We will be attending an event at The Dutch National Opera and Ballet. The institute will be bringing to life the Opera titled, Dialogue Des Carmelittes, this is our first time seeing the Dutch National Opera, however we are really anticipating this performance. The content of this piece revolves around spirituality, war, and freedom. This is a timeless piece which has been performed throughout the globe, in many locations and places.
