Netflix Brings Us Titans

The Titans led by Robin and Raven have to now protect Gotham - DC Universe

Trained by Batman, now Robin has his own group that stops at nothing to protect Gotham – the Titans.

Although originally made for the DC Universe streaming service, Netflix has acquired the rights to stream Titans outside of the United States, including here in the Middle East.

If you don’t know anything about Titans, which used to be both a popular comic book as well as a cartoon, it follows the adventures of Batman’s sidekick Robin, who has assembled a group of young superheroes to protect Gotham after Batman is gone.

Dick Grayson (Robin) is joined by Rachel Roth (Raven), Koriand’r (Starfire) and Gar Logan (Beast Boy) to form the Titans.

Although little is known about the series’ (which will premiere on DC Universe on October 12) plot, but we know that detective Dick Grayson assembles the team of young misfits with superpowers to prevent and evil scheme to take over the city.

The 12-episode season one stars Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Teagan Croft as Raven, Anna Diop as Starfire and Ryan Potter as Beast Boy.

It is still not clear when the series will start streaming on Netflix, and although the below trailer says “coming soon”, how soon remains a mystery.
