Introducing the New DC Universe Streaming Service

DC Comics have announced a DC Universe Streaming Service

If you’re on Netflix simply for its superhero movies and series, then you better switch to the new DC Universe Streaming Service.

While it seems like Marvel has been winning the comic book extended universes race, the DC Universe beat to creating their own streaming service that allows you to watch all of their content. And we mean ALL.

What makes the DC Universe streaming service stand out from existing similar services is that it is dedicated purely to DC comics – creators of popular superheroes like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, and villains like the Joker, Lex Luthor and Darkseid.

Die-hard fans now have all of their favorite (and unfavorite) DC Universe content in one place, from old classics like Batman: The Animated Series and The Dark Knight to new, exclusive content created to be aired only on the service.

The company has announced that a live-action Titans series is in development to be released later on this year, which will be followed by Swamp Thing and Doom Patrol in 2019.

DC Universe offers subscribers the largest collection of DC live-action and animated movies, series, documentaries and even comic books. They also offer exclusive toys that only subscribers can purchase.

When it comes to the subscription price ($7.99 per month), it is very close to Netflix, which offers a basic package for the same price. However, the service is only available in the US for the moment. They have promised to extend it to the rest of the world, but haven’t given an exact timeline.

Whether this is for you or not, is up to you to decide, but die-hard DC fans will for sure not miss a single thing they stream.
