Ever since Jon Bernthal appeared as Frank Castle, whose alter ego is The Punisher, in the second season of Daredevil, we’ve been waiting for him to have his own show. Like an answer to all our prayers, Netflix stepped up and we’re one day away from action-packed vengeance.

The show is by far the most well-scripted version of the story of The Punisher, where while we will still get non-stop-action, we’ll get more personal with Frank Castle and a better background story.
Former soldier turned-assassin turned-violent vigilante Frank Castle is known throughout New York City as “The Punisher”, and he’s out to punish those responsible for the death of his family. What starts out as a quest for vengeance turns into a full scale war against organized crime fought by one man alone.
The series premiered in New York on November 6, but will fully premier on Netflix with all 13 episode tomorrow, November 17.
