Google Assistant & Google Translate in Real Time with Pixel Buds

Pixel Buds come with integrated Google Assistant and Google Translate features in real time

Google just unveiled the Pixel Buds, a pair of wireless earbuds with integrated Google Assistant and real time Google Translate.

Google are tackling some of the active urban human’s biggest obstacles with their innovative Pixel Buds, earbuds with fully integrated, buttons-free Google Assistant and Google Translate.

Designed to complement their new Pixel 2 smartphone, Pixel Buds will be released sometime in November, slightly later than the Pixel 2 which is being released this month. Starting at around $159, they are the perfect accessory to have with you on any trip.

The concept is as simple as it is advanced, and they will make your life a whole lot easier. They are designed to fit perfectly, charge fast, and have buttons-free touch command. However, among all the features that make the Pixel Buds awesome, two things make them better than any other product out there.

While the earbuds compete with similar products from rival manufacturers in terms of sound, durability and such, the integrated Google Assistant and universal translator features sealed the deal for us.

By just touching the right earbud, Google Assistant is activated and ready to execute your following command. Without even picking up your phone, you can ask it to play music, schedule meetings, make phone calls, read incoming messages, and much more.

However, the coolest technological advancement of this year must be their ability to translate between languages in real time using Google Translate.

For example: If you find yourself engaged in a conversation with a person speaking Italian and you don’t understand Italian, just hold down on the right earbud and say “Help me speak Italian.”

Once you start talking, your Pixel phone’s speaker will play your speech translated to Italian, and will pick up Italian speech directed at you and translate it directly into your ear.

With the feature able to translate conversations in 40 languages, this is already my favorite travel companion.
