Nepal Idol Finale Is On Its Way To Qatar

Nepal idol reality television singing competition season finale will take place in Doha, Qatar

Nepal Idol, the Nepali version of the popular Idol reality television singing competition, will host their season finale in Qatar.

The show Nepal Idol is the Nepali adaptation of the reality television singing competition franchise ‘Idol”, which was created by Simon Fuller and have many versions around the world.

The 2017 run of Nepal Idol is the first season of the show, where contestants were able to audition from seven cities – Nepalgunj, Butwal, Narayangarh, Birgunj, Biratnagar, Pokhara and Kathmandu. Anyone between the ages 16 and 30 were allowed to participate, and were judged by Nhyoo Bajracharya, Indira Joshi and Kali Prasad Baskota.

The show’s producers have announced that the first season finale will broadcast from Qatar, on Friday, September 22.

With only 12 contestants left, the Idol’s are ready for the ultimate showdown at Asian Town’s amphitheater in the Industrial Area, Doha. Tickets are already on sale.

The event will be shot and televised by AP1, a Nepali television channel that broadcasts in high definition.

The winner will be be given a Mahindra KUV 100 SUV, Rs 2 million (QR 71,000) and a 1.5 million Nepali Rs worth record deal.
