Ten years later, the gang is back at Camp Firewood for a reunion and one last Wet Hot American Summer.

The movie is a classic, the first series was hilarious and now they are back for Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later.

Just like they promised each other one last day of camp, ten years later, at 9:30 AM, the 1981 junior-camp counselors makes it back to Camp Firewood. Now in their 20s, they have to save the camp from an evil plot orchestrated by two former US presidents with help of the deceiving counselors at Camp Tiger Claw, who are also back for a reunion.

The series is based on David Wain’s 2001 film Wet Hot American Summer, a cult classic about a group of teenagers at summer camp. A prequel series-adaptation with the original cast – Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp was released on Netflix in 2015.

The show is set in 1991, with the all star cast from the movie and first series returning for their original roles, including Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, A. D. Miles, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler,Paul Rudd, Michael Showalter, Christopher Meloni, Marisa Ryan and Molly Shannon.

However, Bradley Cooper, who played Ben in the first movie and First Day of Camp, was not part of Ten Years Later due to scheduling conflicts.

The series consists of eight episodes, and was released on August 4 on Netflix. And while it is not clear whether or not this is the last adventure we see from the counselors at Camp Firewood, we sure hope it’s not.
