Aqua Park Opening Marks Summer Start In Qatar

Aqua Park Qatar

Qatar’s largest water park, Aqua Park, opened its doors for the 2017 summer season earlier this weekend, here’s what’s new.

With the temperature getting warmer and days getting longer, there’s only one thing that could really give that refreshment you are aching for, Aqua Park.

The country’s largest water theme park just opened its doors for the public, inaugurating this year’s summer season.

Located just down Salwa Road, they offer a huge variety of water sports and games for both you and adult alike. They have pools with waves, streaming rivers one can just flow with, a Jacuzzi cave, slides, lagoons and much more.

While admittance fees to all kinds of entertainment usually rise from one season to another, Aqua Park has taken a very different approach.

Last year, the rates stood at QR 180 for an adult, and QR 130 for a child, prices not many regulars were happy with.

This year, however, the rates have dropped to QR 120 per adult and QR 100 per child, which are prices many people would find more reasonable than those of last year’s.

The biggest change that visitors might feel is however not the change in rates, but the fact that they no longer have Tuesdays reserved for ladies only.

Instead, they will be having family day every Saturday from 10 in the morning, until 8 in the evening.

The park doesn’t open on Mondays, but opens from noon until 8 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays. On Thursdays they are open from noon until 10 PM, and from 10 in the morning until 10 in the evening on Fridays.
