All Nintendo Game Boy fans get ready, it is making a comeback with the Super Retro Boy by Retro-bit.
Retro gaming is picking up popularity very quickly, and with the recent release of Pokemon GO and Super Mario Run, the 8-bit gaming urge just awoke in people all over the world. The latest in retro gaming will be brought to you by Retro-Bit, a company which specializes in making retro gaming consoles, and it is called the Super Retro Boy.
The Super Retro Boy is the company’s very own version of Nintendo’s Game Boy, and is said to be able to run Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games, but is better for a few reasons.
While the Nintendo versions needed batteries to run, these devices will run on rechargeable lithium batteries that can hold a charge for up to 10 hours.
It still looks pretty much like the very first original Game Boy, and could fool anyone who doesn’t look close enough to spot the differences.
It is time you run through garage sales and secondhand stores looking for Game Boy cartridges because it’s time to party like it’s 1989. And if you can’t find any, which we are sure you could if you looked at the right places, it will come with a 10-in-1 bundle game. The titles however, have still not been announced.
August is just a few months away, and is plenty of time to save up that $79.99 price tag it will have in the US when it drops.
