Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 Cup softened butter
1 Cup brown sugar
½ Cup white sugar
2 Eggs
2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
1¼ Cups all-purpose flour
½ Teaspoon baking soda
1 Teaspoon salt
3 Cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or white chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

Start off by whisking together the butter and sugars until you get a smooth and creamy consistency. Add the eggs one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt;and stir into the creamed mixture until even.

Now add the oats and chocolate chips, and mix roughly.

Divide them into small chunks onto a baking sheet and bake in a preheated over at 156 degrees Celsius, for 12 minutes. Let them cool for a few minutes before relocating them onto a wire tray to let them cool down completely.

Your oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are good as a snack and with vanilla ice cream.
