Buffalo Calamari – Ramadan Yummies

As part of Ramadan spirit, The Life Pile will suggest daily recipes that are easy and tasty. Today’s recipe is:

Buffalo Calamari

Ingredients
1 Kilogram sliced calamari
3 Cups buttermilk
2 Cups flour
4 Teaspoons paprika
4 Teaspoons salt
2 Teaspoon black pepper
2 Teaspoon garlic powder
1 Cup buffalo sauce

Let the calamari soak in the buttermilk in your fridge for half an hour.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper and the garlic powder. Toss in the soaked pieces individual to get an even coat.

Carefully put in some of the coated pieces into a fryer for 1-3 minutes, over 175 degrees Celsius.

When you remove them from the fryer, drain them from excess oil over some paper towels. Toss them around in a bowl full with the buffalo sauce.

Serve while still hot with some ranch sauce for dip.
