Motor madness has hit Doha with Losail Circuit Sports club opening a new outdoors karting and motor race track for the public.
This newest edition to the clubs services offers visitors a thrill filled racing experience on the newly open karting and mini moto track where you can cruise, race with friends, or just drive for the sake of it.
Launching on May 12, the circuits are available for public use from 18:30 to 22:30 on Thursdays and Fridays until July 1. During Ramadan the tracks will be open from 20:30 to 23:30, also on Thursdays and Fridays.
A 15 minute karting session will cost you QAR 100, and you can rent helmets on the spot for QAR 15, or bring your own.
The Losail Circuit Sports Club is a motorsports venue that offers a wide range of tracks and circuits for motorsports racing events. This includes their world class racing circuit, which is the only one regionally to have received international recognition with the Circuit Licence Grade 1 and the Circuit Licence Grade A from the FIA for its 16 turn 5389 meter circuit.
The venue, which also welcomes family activities and corporate events, operates under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. Being equipped with floodlighting, the venue is available and can be booked for use 24 hours a day.
