Tina Chow, is an American born model, originally born in Ohio, of German descent. Chow moved with her family to Japan, during her teenage years, she was discovered along with her sister in Japan, become the faces of Shiseido. Tina Chow became a muse to the world’s very greatest designers, the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, and Issey Miyake. What was unique about Chow was her ability to merge high end fashion items with unique pieces found in street markets, she also played with masculine and feminine apparel. Chow grew to become a jewelry designer.
Fiona Campbell Walter, is a model cited “most beautiful model” by Vogue magazine. Walter came from an aristocratic family, she was known for her eclectic taste. She appeared in Vogue, and Life magazine. Campbell Walter was born in Auckland in 1932.
Naomi Campbell, was born in 1970, she is from England, discovered at the age of 15. She was one of the most adored and sought after models in the 1980s and the 1990s. Six supermodels were ever declared as such by the industry, Campbell is known for being one of them. Before completing her 16 years Naomi Campbell had landed her first Elle cover. She was Vogue’s first ever black model on the cover, which was on the cover of French Vogue in 1988; she later appeared on the cover of American Vogue for its September Issue.
Kate Moss, born in 1974 London, Moss was discovered by Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Model Management, she was only 14 years old at the time. In the early 1990s Kate was the world’s favorite model, she played a dominant role in size zero fashion given her very slim figure. Working with designers such as Calvin Klein, Channel, Burberry, Gucci, and basically every single high end fashion house one can think of. Moss became one of the highest earning models of all time, grossing $9.2 million per year.
