I have recently come across an event happening in Beirut. Some week this event took place in Ashrafyeh, at other times in areas like Zouk. The funnest thing ever, has become an event for adults. The event was titled “coloring night for adults”.
At first the concept struck me as fun, and extremely creative. Then i really got to thinking about this concept. Adults have a longing for childhood more than anything else in the world. Coloring was a tool, one which allows a person to delve back into the indulgences, and the ease of childhood.
Some nights all you feel like doing is drink a good glass of wine, have an easy going conversation, and look at beautiful colors manifesting while you sit back and enjoy the creative experience. After all coloring is truly therapeutic, it allows individuals to unleash some creative steam. It helps people with focus problems.
Overall it is a truly amazing thing to do, having thought of it, i truly admire the initiative. Especially if it was this well thought out. I would advise anyone who feels like getting creative while not bothering your ears with super loud and obnoxious music, and enjoying some lounge, jazz, or relaxing tunes, to head over and enjoy their night out!
