The municipality of Dubai has previously launched an initiative aiming at making Dubai a greener city, the municipality is encouraging residents to grow plants and greenery at the rooftops of their buildings, the initiative was already put to the test, and clearly countless buildings within the beautiful city are creating a discipline that requires each individual’s lifestyle to contribute to a healthier environment.
This project was considered important in reducing carbon emissions and in enhancing indoor environment and air. It also aimed at enhancing the health of Dubai’s society and increasing life expectancy , as well as protecting the local eco system. Increased productivity among residents of building with green roofs, was also a factor much taken into consideration upon the launch of this initiative.
