While some claim that a full beard is out of fashion, we still want to have our’s thick, dark and beautiful.
As little boys, most of us dreamt of growing up to become men with thick beards. But not every adult man got one. Some beards have patches, while others are thin. Some come in too late, while other come in too early and to thick. But no matter what kind of beard you have, this is how you take care of it:
Hydrate
Water will not make your beard grow, but it will keep the hairs and skin underneath moist, soft and healthy. Also, water is essential for flushing out toxins and maintaining healthy bodily functions, which in terms promotes hair growth.

Shampoo
You should shampoo your beard between 2 to 5 times a week, using shampoo or mild soap. Actually, anti-dandruff shampoo could be the key to beating that itch, as well as ridding your beard from white flakes, making it more appealing.
Oil
You could by special oils that protect and maintain your beard from the cosmetics store, or you could use oils that you (could) have at home. Oils such as jojoba or grapeseed oils help protect your beard from daily activities that might hurt it, like exposure to weather, water or touching other things.

Exercise
As it seems, there’s nothing that exercise doesn’t help. Keeping your heart pumping promotes blood circulation and oxygen distribution to all extremities if your body, hence making nutrients and essential minerals reach your beard and keep it healthy.
Sleep
Yes, sleep! It is when you’re sleeping that your cells repair and regenerate, and the same goes for hair. Haven’t you realized that you only notice hair growth after having slept? So sleep, rest, relax, and let that beard grow.
