The Discover America Festival 2018 kicked-off yesterday and there’s a lot activities to enjoy around Doha.
In celebration of Qatar-US relations, the American Embassy in Qatar is hosting events throughout the week for the 4th consecutive Discover America Festival 2018.
Now while many of the events have a niche audience, there is something to for everyone to enjoy.

From October 28 until November 3, American restaurants and eateries in the capital will be offering special menus with authentic American foods. During the same period, Lulu Hypermarket will be having special promotions and discounts on food products from the US.
Starting November 1, and until November 4, the US Embassy and the Doha Film Institute have teamed up for “Cinema Under the Stars”, and outdoor cinema experience that will be screening popular animated movies that the whole family can enjoy.
The cinema will be set up at the Museum of Islamic Art, and will be offering free admission to everyone. The show will start at 7 pm, daily.

And for those of you who’d like to shake things up, visit the Mall of Qatar on November 3, and get the chance to listen to a live American band as they rock the house with classical American hits. They will be playing three shows, at 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
