The more recent Call of Duty games flopped, but the upcoming Black Ops 4 might be hottest shooter game out there.
The first thing you need to know about Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, is that it is the first Call of Duty game without a single-player campaign mode. It has caught up to newer games and it’s exactly what the game needed to be saved.
Advanced Warfare was the last Call of Duty game I enjoyed. Beyond that, it got a bit old, overrated and the campaign stories became too ridiculous. And it’s very likely that the general gaming community though the same of them, because they flopped big time.
But now Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is here to make up for times (and love) lost, and is ready to take that number one spot its predecessors had.
The upcoming game combined the best of both worlds: the classic shooter games that made the previous titles big hits, with the newer action-packed free-for-all combat games.
Dumping campaign mode might have been the smartest thing Activision has done. Black Ops 4 has three game modes: Multiplayer, Zombies and Blackout, a new fortnite-style battle royale mode.

A beta version of the game was released on September 10, meaning that you can currently download a small part of the game and test it out before you can buy it starting October 12.
