Got retro fever? Then the PlayStation Classic with 20 games from your childhood is what you want for Christmas.
Sony has announced that they will be bringing back the original PlayStation console which was released in the 90s as a miniature device called PlayStation Classic.
They are following in the footsteps of Nintendo, who gave us NES Classic Edition and Super NES Classic Edition in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
Scheduled to be in stores in time for Christmas, the console will come pre-loaded with 20 classic games, such as Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, and Ridge Racer Type 4.
The time machine console can be purchased at stores globally for $99.99 (or equivalent in local currency) starting December 3.
The mini-PlayStation comes with two classic PlayStation controller, so players can enjoy games that support local multiplayer gaming, as well as an HDMI cable.
Sony has not yet released a full list of game titles that will be made available for the PlayStation Classic, but a press release confirms two additional titles: Jumping Flash and Wild Arms.1
Hopefully, The PS Classic will be much easier to find in stores than the mini-Nintendos.
