Club soda, sparkling water and seltzer may look like same thing, but they are quite different in essence.
Although club soda, sparkling water and seltzer are all made from water, are carbonated and bubbly, but they aren’t really the same.
Club Soda
Club soda is carbonated water, meaning it has been mixed with carbon dioxide, as well as mineral like ingredients such as sodium bicarbonate, sodium citrate, and potassium sulfate. Although it’s unflavored, the ingredients give off a rather mineraly taste.

Sparkling Water
Sometimes, carbonated water is found flowing in springs and wells naturally, that is sparkling water. However, some brands carbonate their sparkling water manually. That type of sparkling water is not mineral based.

Seltzer
Simply put, seltzer is just like club soda, water mixed with carbon dioxide for carbonation. However, no minerals are added to seltzer, leaving it with no taste, which makes it great for cocktails.
