Here’s a look into Bojack Horseman season 5, as Netflix rolls out the trailer before September 14 premier.
Bojack Horseman is a Netflix series about a former child star fighting depression, trauma, addiction and self-destructive behavior. And oh, he’s a horse.
In 2018, online magazine Thrillist ranked it as the best Netflix Original Series of all time, and for good reason. The complexity of Bojack himself, along with the simple humanistic criticism of current events and recent through characters like Mr. Peanutbutter and Todd Chavez.

All you have to do is give the show a chance. It will take a few episodes to get used to the balance (and roller coaster) of both humor and drama.
The most interesting premise we have for season 5 is how season 4 ended, with Diane telling Mr. Penutbutter she wants a divorce. Given that there always were some romantic tension between her and Bojack, who have had feelings for her, it will be interesting to see how things develop.

But from the trailer we can see that Bojack is a train wreck. Although his career is back on track and he’s starring in a show called “Philbert”, he is still depressed and struggling with his substance addiction.
Will Bojack Horseman triumph, or is he destined to walk the same line over and over again. Season 5 will tell.
