Scientists Discover Mysterious New Cell

scientists have discovered the rosehip neurons, a new type of brain cell in human brain

A new type of brain cell known as the ‘rosehip neurons’ might hold the secrets to what makes the human brain special.

The “rosehip neurons” is a newly discovered type of brain cell, and one of very few that are exclusive to the human brain. While researchers are just getting know the neuron, they believe that it could play a role in brain disorders.

A study by an international team of researchers from Europe and the US was published in the journal Nature Neuroscience.

In their report they explained that such cells had never been observed in lab rodents, and that they wanted to find out whether or not their presence in the human brain could unlock some of its mysteries.

It was found that the ‘rosehip neurons’ lit up a unique set of genes in the human brain, a set of genes that have no been known to exists in any other species.

It was also found that they form connections with a separate group of neurons known as pyramid cells.

The human cortex, where the cells were found, is the part of the brain that is responsible for consciousness and is the most complex part of the human body.

All that is known so far is that these cells belong to a category of cells known as inhibitory neurons, which stop the activity of other cells in the brain.

However, they have only been seen attached to very specific parts of the pyramidal cells.
