A Canadian tourist and school girl from Leeds both took pictures of the Loch Ness Monster just hours apart.
Sightings of the Loch Ness Monster are not that rare, but it is not every day that two people snap pictures of it just a few hours apart.
It was the first day of her vacation with her parents, when 12-year-old Charlotte Robinson took a picture of the famed monster. Just hours later and 12 miles away, Lynn Locke from Ontario, Canada, was able to take another picture of the same “monster”.
This morning we'll be talking to 12-year-old Charlotte Robinson, who took this picture of the Loch Ness monster on her smartphone while on holiday with her parents in the highlands. We'd love to know what you make of it! pic.twitter.com/qHAJMXobsT

Now the internet is trying to decide who took the better picture of Nessie. However, experts are saying that little Charlotte takes home the prize, calling her photo the “best picture” of the Loch Ness Monster in years.
Gary Campbell, who runs the official Loch Ness Monster sightings register, told media that he believes that it was “more than a coincidence that the same unexplained but moving object has appeared near the same shore but 12 miles apart on the same day. The pictures were taken some time apart which would allow it to swim that distance.”

Campbell explained that a similar sighting had been made the day before, and said that there has been a “total of seven sightings for this year which is fantastic – it could be another record year as we’re not even at the end of August yet.”
