The Durham School for Girls Doha will be the very first British school in Qatar exclusively for girls.
In September 2019, the Durham School for Girls Doha (DSGD), will open its doors, becoming the first school exclusively for girls teaching a British curriculum in the country.
The announcement was made during an official signing ceremony, which was attended by DSGD Chairman Engineer Saad Al Muhannadi and representatives from Durham International Schools.
Founded in 1414, Durham School is an internationally acclaimed British school offering a top notch curriculum and activities for children. The school is located in Al Messila, and will soon make a public announcement of their dates of admissions, according to Qatar Living.
However, the school will start admitting students in phases. During phase one, they will start accepting applicants to the Early Years Foundation Stage Programme (EYFS), as well as primary classes from years 1 to 6, in 2020.

Two years later, in 2022, they will initiate phase two and start accepting students to secondary level classes. By then, the school will fully open and functional.
