Kyle, an aspiring rapper, is doing whatever it takes to land a record deal. When he finally lands a gig, it turns into the most embarrassing night of his life, but it’s maybe to his favor. Kyle’s life will change after his friends Jeff gets them into the after party.

Alike many hip hop films, the movie is an coming-of-age story with a brilliant touch of comedy. It was written and directed by Ian Edelman and stars Kyle Harvey, Harrison Holzer, Shelley Hennig, Teyana Taylor, Jordan Rock, Amin Joseph, Andy Buckley, and Blair Underwood.
It also features a lineup of hip hop stars, including DJ Khaled, Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, Desiigner, Jadakiss and Pusha T.
The After Party is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on August 24, 2018.
