The Great Pyramid of Giza Can Collect Electromagnetic Energy

Great Pyramid of Giza could be used to collect electromagnetic energy

A new study claims that Egypt’s Great Pyramid of Giza could potentially collect electromagnetic energy.

There has been many theories about the purpose of the pyramids of Egypt, especially one as huge as the Great Pyramid of Giza. Standing nearly 147 meters high, it is now believed to be able to focus electromagnetic energy through a network of hidden chambers.

A joint study between scientists at Itmo University in Russia and Germany’s Laser Zentrum Hannover investigated the electromagnetic response of the ancient Egyptian pyramid to radio waves using methods of theoretical physics.

Their conclusion was that in resonant state, the pyramid could be able to concentrate electromagnetic energy through the chamber network under its base, where a third, unfinished chamber is located.

The 30-meter-long hidden chamber was discovered just last year, which added more mystery to one of the oldest Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Using 3D mapping of the pyramid, the researchers applied analytical methods of theoretical physics to reach their conclusion.

With much of the pyramid missing, the scientists had to work with a number of assumptions, including that the properties of limestone being evenly distributed across the whole pyramid, as well as the existence of unknown chambers.

The complete study was published in the Journal of Applied Physics.
