It’s time you stop being so mainstream about your movies and finally watch one of these funny comedies.
A good comedy movie is hard to find, but not if you know where to look. Forget about ratings and box office revenue, pick one of the movies below and just laugh out loud.
Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (2010)
Tucker and Dale are two well-meaning hillbillies who are mistaken for killers by a group of clueless college students. No matter how hard they try, things always seem to backfire.
After Hours (1985)
This is not what comes to mind when you say a Martin Scorsese movie, but it should be just as much as classic as the others. The movie follows Paul Hackett as he’s just trying to make it home to SoHo, but he won’t without a whole bunch of misadventures.
Everybody Wants Some!! (2016)
Although made in 2016, the movie has been called Dazed and Confused meets the 80s. Since they have the same director, it’s believed to be somewhat of a spiritual sequel to the aforementioned film.
The Brothers Bloom (2008)
The movie stars Rachel Weisz, Adrien Brody, Mark Ruffalo, Rinko Kikuchi, Maximilian Schell, and Robbie Coltrane, what more reason do you need to watch it?
When MacGruber was just an a skit on Saturday Night Live, we all wondered when they were going to make into a movie. Well, they did, and now you will have to watch it. Just think of it of an elaborate SNL skit with good production value.
Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016)
We have no idea what Andy Samberg and the Lonely Island are trying to do with this movie exactly, but it seems like they kinda wish they were Justin Bieber.
The Nice Guys (2016)
This movie stars Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling, where are all the ladies at? Come on! What do they have to do to appeal to you anymore?
