California-based Stroma Medical are devising a method that can permanently change your eye color to blue.
People have had to wear colored contact lenses or even go as far as wearing fake corneal implants to change eye color – until now. An American company called Stroma Medical can help you change your eye color in less than 30 seconds.
In theory, the method is very simple. The procedure involves patients sitting under a laser for around 20 seconds, and within days their eyes start turning blue.

Here’s the science behind it:
The eye color you see is the effect of a thin layer of melanin, a pigment that sits on the surface of the iris. Underneath the melanin is your natural eye color, a unique shade of blue or blue-green.
What the Stroma Laser does is “deliver energy to this thin layer of iris pigment, modifying it by raising and lowering its temperature several times.”
