Mix a tablespoon of liquid soap or dishwashing detergents with two tablespoons of alcohol in a liter of water.
Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and stray the ants and their trail.
The alcohol will kill or chase of the ants that are there, and the soap will wash off the scent of the trail, leaving nothing for new ants to follow.
