The people have spoken, Eggspectation Qatar is the place to get the breakfast of a lifetime.
It has been two years since Eggspectation first opened doors in Qatar, and they are beating all expectations. With a branch at The Pearl and the other at the Mall of Qatar, the popular Canadian restaurant-café has been voted “Favorite Breakfast Venue in Doha” at the Fact Dining Awards 2018.
The 4th Annual Fact Dining Awards Doha were hosted by Fact Magazine, with people all over the country voting for their favorite restaurants and venues.
While the name of the restaurant itself gives off a hint to what you should be ordering, they offer in fact an all-day dining experience.
“Eggspectation offers a variety of international dishes; our menu caters to all tastes including a chef’s choice of soup and pizza every day, world class main course dishes and a large assortment of high-end egg and crepe dishes which are available all day long,” Marketing Manager Sarah Chaker told TLP.
“However, we have been best known for our specialties, eggs! Breakfast is the busiest time at Eggspectation, with more breakfast options than any other place in Doha. They range from Omelettes, Eggs Benedict, Bagels, Waffles, Pancakes and more.”
Although, eggs are not the only thing on the menu, and they do serve a lot more than just breakfast.
“[Our] menu is very vast and wide, it surely makes it hard for us to choose a favorite. However, our specialties are The High Rise Pancakes and our Fried Chicken N’ Waffles. Not to mention all Eggs Benedicts. The Fresh Start and The Eggsuberant are totally worth a try as well,” she said.”
For them, the nature of this award in particular makes it more important than other awards, given that it is based on votes.
“Winning Favorite Breakfast Venue in Doha for 2018 means a lot to us. Being chosen based on people’s votes online, this makes us know better, that Eggspectation is in people’s eyes truly the ultimate breakfast spot.”
There wasn’t much that Eggspectation had to do to win the award, except remain authentic, and letting their customers know that they had been nominated.
“We have indeed prepared for this, we have been spreading the word inside our restaurants and making sure our customers know that we have been nominated for an award.”
