Make your own bath bombs for colorful and bubbly relaxing baths at home. It’s quick and easy.

Everyone love to take baths, especially when they are colorful and bubbly. But bath bombs can be rather expensive if you want to use them frequently.

Luckily, we know how you can make your own bath bombs at home, save money, and have relaxing baths whenever you want.

You will need:

Plastic bag
Water
Essential oil (optional)
Baking soda
Epsom salt
Food coloring
Corn starch
Citric acid
Vegetable oil (try coconut oil)

Mix the baking soda, epsom salt, corn starch and citric acid in a big bowl. Make sure that the mixture is clump free, which might be easier with the help of a fork or whisk.

Then, mix together the water, oil, essential oil and food coloring.

Feel free to experiment a little with the colors and scents, but remember that you want a relaxing bath and don’t want it to be too much.

Very slowly, add the wet mix to the dry mix very. Try doing it one teaspoon at a time while whisking. If it gets to fizzy, it means that you need to go slower.

Once you’re done, you should have a mixture that looks like barely wet sand.

Place your dough into a plastic bag or wrapper, mold it into a ball (or another shape), seal it and let it dry.

Now your bath bombs are ready. Whenever you feel like using one, just take it out of its wrapper and pop it into your bathtub.
