A new study has separated the most addictive foods from the least addictive. How does your diet look like?

While everyone knows that sugary and fatty foods are the ones to stay away from, it might be harder done than said. Researchers at the Colorado State University conducted a study and found out which foods are more addictive than others.

It’s not a surprise that the food containing most sugar and fat are the most addictive, anyone who eats regularly can tell you that. Those same foods are often connected to a claimed condition called “food addiction.”

For the researcher, 35 foods were studied, and the 10 most addictive were found to be:

  • Pizza
  • Chocolate
  • Chips
  • Biscuits
  • Ice cream
  • Fries
  • Cheeseburgers
  • Soft drinks
  • Cake
  • Cheese

Cheese, making it to 10th spot on the list, is the only food on it that is not processed.

The reason behind the addiction might be that all these foods are high in fat and drastically raise your blood sugar quickly.

However, the study also pointed out the 10 least addictive foods, they are:

  • Cucumber
  • Carrots
  • Beans
  • Apples
  • Brown rice
  • Broccoli
  • Bananas
  • Salmon
  • Corn
  • Strawberries
