A new study suggests that a chemical found in McDonalds fries has the power to revert hair loss and cure baldness.
Scientists in Japan have used a chemical called dimethylpolysiloxane to cure baldness in mice. The same compound is used to cook Mcdonalds fries.

Now they hope that the chemical, which is added to the oil to prevent bubbling and splitting when cooking the fries, could help cure baldness in humans.
With the help of dimethylpolysiloxane they cultured 5,000 hair follicle germs, which were then transplanted onto bald mice.

Within a few days they started to sprout fur, actual, thick hairs.
It is believed that the same technique would help restore healthy hair follicle germs on human scalps, and ultimately eliminate baldness completely.

According to the scientists, the chemical lets oxygen pass through very easily, which makes it perfect for hair cultivation.
However, don’t run out and start rubbing McDonald’s fries all over your head. Most probably, all you’ll end up with is a greasy yet tasty scalp.
