Netflix has announced that House of Cards will go one for one last season, starring Robin Wright (Claire).
Netflix has answered our prayers and are bringing back House of Cards for one last season. With Kevin Spacey (Frank Underwood) fired from the show, the eight-episode finale will be lead by Robin Wright (Claire Underwood), they announced.

Earlier in November, fans were afraid that they would be left waiting for a finale after a series of sexual harassment allegations against Kevin Spacey forced the network to fire him.
It seemed as House of Cards was cancelled for good, and that Claire had gone down with her husband Frank.
But as we always knew, Claire Underwood doesn’t hide hide in the shadows and will step up to take charge when she needs to.
“We are excited to bring closure to fans,” Netflix content chief Ted Sarandos said.
“Robin Wright will star in the concluding season, elevating to a central role the character of Claire Underwood,” he said.
Kevin Spacey has also been erased from the upcoming film “All the Money in the World”. Director Ridley Scott has been working hard to re-shoot scene that Spacey appeared in.

For his part, Spacey did not deny allegations and has issued a public apology to people he has hurt. Spacey’s representatives have said that he will be seeking treatment.
