Qatari musician Fahad Al Kubaisi has become the first singer from the Gulf to be nominated for a Grammy Award.
Kubaisi was nominated for the ‘World Music Album’ category for his album Enta Eshq (You Are Love).

The artist announced the new through twitter a days ago, saying:
“I am looking forward to presenting Arabic music in its different colors to the Western world. Our musical heritage is very rich and deserves appreciation.”
