Hamad International Airport Named ‘Best Airport’

Hamad International Airport (HIA) has been named the best airport in west asia for the 3 year in a row

Doha’s Hamad International Airport has been dubbed the ‘Best Airport in West Asia’ for the third consecutive time.

Hamad International Airport was intended to be the most futuristic, comfortable and best choice for travellers, and it is just that. For the third year in a row, HIA has been named the ‘Best airport in West Asia’ at the Future Travel Experience (FTE) Asia Awards 2017 in Singapore.

Future Travel Experience (FTE) Asia Awards is an annual ceremony that celebrate airports and airlines that have returned quality flyer experience and innovative leadership. It was held at the Marina Bay sands in singapore.

This is the third time, consecutively, that HIA is awarded the prestigious award for its commitment to delivering the highest standard of services to people travelling out or into the country, or even just through.

“We’re honoured to receive the Best Airport in West Asia award for the third consecutive time. HIA will continue to work towards delivering sophisticated and innovative solutions that offer an unparalleled travel experience,” the Qatar Tribune quoted HIA CEO Mr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer saying.

At the moment, HIA is among the airports under consideration for the ‘Best airport in the world’ award by Skytrax, which also classified it as a five-star airport earlier this year, one of only five other to achieve this elevated status.
