How do you relax during a long flight? In a double bed of course. Business class travelers with Qatar Airways can now opt for one.

Qatar Airways has become the first airliner to offer their business class travelers the option to fly in a double bed. The seating arrangements are now available onboard QA flights flights to and from London’s Heathrow Airport and Doha’s Hamad International.

By removing the privacy screens between the bed’s on the Boeing 777’s flying between Doha and London daily, the company was able to join to beds into one.

In a statement to PA, the carrier’s senior vice president for Europe Jonathan Harding called the Qsuite cabins a “first class product in business class.”

“It’s a revolutionary, brand new, game-changing product which we are going to roll out across our business class fleet, raising the business class experience to a new level,” he added.

The price of such comfort and privacy is not cheap however, since a double bed seat comes at £3,200 while a regular business class seat costs £1,600.

“We have the first double bed in the sky so people travelling together are able to avail themselves of that.”

Qatar Airways stole back the title of the world’s best airline from UAE’s Emirates this year, which dropped from first last year to fourth this year at the 2017 World Airline Awards.
