Watch Darci Lynne Farmer Win America’s Got Talent S12

singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer won America’s Got Talent (AGT) season 12 finale

12-year-old singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer owned the stage at the season 12 finale of America’s Got Talent.

Even with decades of practice and training, AGT is still a hard competition to win, which might explain why 12-year-old Darci Lynne from Florida is still surprised she won.

“It’s more of a shock right now, it hasn’t even hit me,” Darci Lynne told E! News. “I have no words, I’m speechless, but thank you America for voting for me, it’s crazy!”

America’s Got Talent, which just finished its 12th season, is not only the most watched talent show in the US, but in the world. While tens of countries have their own versions of the show, the American version remains quite popular around the world.

During the live season 12 finale, she performed “Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better)” alongside ventriloquist Terry Fator and became the second ventriloquist to win the AGT competition.

Her performance received more than 52 million votes, putting her in the lead for the $1 million grand prize.

When she was asked why her puppet sidekick Petunia didn’t accompany her to the after-show interview, she clarified that “she is so exhausted. She demanded a nap, I’m not even kidding.”

What would a 12-year-old do with a million US dollars you wonder? Darci Lynne has it all figured out.

“I have to get my mom a dishwasher because it doesn’t work and we need a new on,” she revealed.

This is Darci Lynne Farmer’s winning performance at the America’s Got Talent season 12 finale.
