Enjoy Microsoft Paint while you can, because the company just announced that they will scrap the iconic art software.
Microsoft Paint, everyone’s first favorite computer software will not be included in Windows’ big fall update, the company has announced. It was included in a list of features that will either be removed or no longer developed for the upcoming Windows 10 updates.
Before online gaming and mobile applications, even before the first SimCity or Prince of Persia, Paint was every child’s first computer experience. I remember spending hours doodling random artworks.

Known for its simplicity, Paint has been part of the Windows operating system since its release in 1985. It enabled computer users to draw anything they could imagine in multicolor, which was a big deal back in the day.
Believe it or not, many people still use it for various tasks until this day.
People all over the world have expressed disappointment using the hashtags #RIPMSPaint, #RIPpaint and #PaintForever, including Jim’ll Paint It, an artist who uses the program to draw pieces of art upon requests by strangers.

However, after realizing the love Windows users have for the program, Microsoft announced that they will release a version of Paint on the Windows Store, making it available for anyone to download and use.
Some rejoiced upon hearing the news, while others expressed mixed emotions, including Jim’ll Paint It himself.
