Time To Watch Flaked

Flaked

Will Arnett excels as a writer, producer, director and star of Netflix’s Flaked, a comedy so sad.

As the second season of Flaked was released earlier this month, it is about time the show received the reception and appreciation it deserves.

The show was created by iconic comedian actor Will Arnett, who takes on one of his most serious roles, together with Mitch Hurwitz, who worked with him as creator and executive producer on the award-winning Arrested Development.

Arnett plays Chip, a recovered alcoholic who tried to leave his bad habits behind him, but they chase him everywhere he goes. He is haunted by his drunken accident that took the life of a kid, an affair with his best friend’s love interest, and a not-so-ex-wife who lives to make his life miserable. To top it all off, he is about to lose the only thing that is truly his, a stool workshop in Venice.

It a comedy that will give you many laughs, but at the same time an emotional ride of ups and downs. Prepare to see a shade of Arnett you never knew he had.

The first season was released in July 2016 with 8 episodes, and returned this June with a second season of 6 episodes

While it has a 42% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.3/10 on IMDB, it has a 93% approval rating by Google users.

If you want light-hearted laughs, this show is not for you. However, if you like to laugh while accompanying a suffering human being as he struggles to put his life back together, this show is simply epic.
