While there are many cafes around the world that base much of their flagship dishes on the popular hazelnut spread, this is the only one opened and managed by the it’s creators, Ferrero, with a permanent location.

People lined up for hours on opening day, May 31, hoping to get the free item promised to the first 400 guests.

Some lucky visitors even got a free giant jar of Nutella, complete with a Chicago themed logo.

Even though the hazelnut spread is the main attraction in most of their food, there’s a lot more than just desserts. Nutella Cafe has an impressive and delicious menu for both breakfast and lunch.
