French Fries Linked To Death

Potatoes are nutritious, but once you decide to have them as fries, they became really dangerous to your health.

A recently study has linked eating fries with an increased risk of death. It showed that eating fried potato twice a week or more could double your risk of risk of death.

Published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the study monitored the potato consumption of 4,400 participants aged between 45 and 79 over the course of eight years.

Unfortunately, 236 of the participants had died by the time the study was completed.

Overall, a potato-rich diet did not show any signs of being a factor directly involved with a person’s mortality. But when diets including fried potatoes – like French fries and hash browns – at least twice a week were singled out, they evidently showed signs directly linked to a doubled risk of death.

Generally, potatoes are a both nutritious and healthy, not to forget tasty however you choose to make them. They are a good source of vitamins, fiber and micronutrients. But when fried, they suck up much oil and fat.
