A list of opening hours for prominent businesses and services during the holy month of Ramadan.

Residents of Doha during the holy month of Ramadan will witness a change in opening hours for all sorts of businesses and service.

Government offices

Public offices, such as ministries, government departments and institutions, will be following a five hours working day during the Holy Month. They will open from Sunday to Thursday from 9 AM until 2 PM.

However, the Ministry of Interior’s General Directorate of Passports, General Directorate of Traffic and Criminal Evidence and Information department will remain open daily from 8 AM until 5:30 PM.

Markets

Souq Waqif

Souq Waqif: The majority of shops will from 10 AM to 1 PM during the day, and will resume business 7 PM until midnight. Restaurants and cafes, however, will open from sunset until just after dawn.

MIA Park Bazaar: The market will be open on Saturdays from 5 PM until midnight.

The Pearl-Qatar: Shops will open from 10 AM until 2 PM during the day, and resume business starting 8 PM until midnight.

Malls

Villaggio

Mall of Qatar: During the first two weeks of Ramadan, the majority of shops will open from 10 AM until 3 PM, while restaurants and the food court will open from 5:30 PM until 1 AM.

During the last two weeks of Ramadan, shops will open from 10 AM until 4 PM, and the resume business again from 7:30 PM until 1 AM.

Doha Festival City: During the first two weeks of Ramadan shops will open from 10 AM until 3 PM, and resume business from 7:30 PM until 1 AM.

During the last two weeks of Ramadan, shops will open from 10 AM until 1 AM, but will close for Friday prayers. The food court and restaurants will open daily from just before iftar until 1 AM.

Villaggio Mall: During the first two weeks of Ramadan shops will open Saturday to Thursday from 10 AM until 1:30 PM, and resume business from 7:30 PM until midnight. On Fridays, they will open from 7:30 PM until midnight.

During the last two weeks of Ramadan, shops will open Saturday to Thursday from 10 AM until 1:30 PM, and resume business from 7:30 PM until 1 AM. The food court and restaurants will open daily from just before iftar until 1 AM.

Landmark Mall: The majority of shops will open Saturday to Thursday from 10 AM until 3 PM, and resume business from 7:30 PM until 1 AM. The children’s area and food court will open from just before iftar until 1:30 AM.

Lagoona Mall: The majority of shops will open Saturday to Thursday from 10 AM until 3 PM, and resume business from 8 PM until midnight. On Fridays, they will open from 8 PM until midnight. Restaurants will open from just before iftar until midnight.

City Center Doha: The majority of shops will open Saturday to Thursday from 10 AM until 1 AM, and on Fridays from 3 PM until 1 AM. Restaurants will open from just before iftar until 1 AM.

Gulf Mall: The majority of shops will open Saturday to Thursday from 10 AM until 3 PM, and resume business from 7:30 PM until 1 AM. On Fridays, they will open from 7:30 PM until 1 AM. Restaurants will open from just before iftar until 1:30 AM.

Spices at a Doha market

Carrefour: All branches will open Saturday to Thursday from 9 AM until 2 AM, and on Friday from 9 AM until 11 AM and then again from 12:30 PM until 2 AM.

Family Food Center: All branches will open Saturday to Thursday from 8:30 AM until 6 PM, and then again from 7:30 PM until 1 AM. On Fridays, they will open from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM, from 12:30 PM until 6 PM, and then again from 7:30 PM until midnight.

Spinneys: All branches will open daily from 8 AM until midnight, but will close from 11 AM until 12:30 PM on Fridays for prayers.
