Muslims all over the world are in love with the latest Gap campaign for featuring a woman in hijab.
The American clothing brand and retailer Gap released their 2017 summer season campaign earlier last week, and it took the Muslim world by storm. Positive feedback from all over the world took over social media over the woman in hijab featured in the campaign.
In celebration of diversity – a focal point of the campaign – a picture of a woman wearing hijab featured a caption saying:
“I am curious, passionate. A hard worker and a dreamer. I am kind-hearted — and all about my friends and family. I am Hybutalla. #IAmGap,” was shared on the retailer’s Twitter feed.

People from all over the world shared pictures of the ad being featured inside stores and on storefront windows.
Hey @Gap! In your boutique on the Champs-Élysées, I have seen this morning a shop mannequin with a hijab. Do you adjust to Islamisation? pic.twitter.com/3QC9jTEWOW

While others expressed joy, it seems like Gap has gained some very loyal costumers from now on.

Gap is not the first international brand to feature a veiled woman in their campaigns. Sports apparel giant Nike even took it to the next level last year and launched an entire line of sports clothing for women wearing hijab.

Their products have become popular among Muslim women, and even more with Muslim female athletes.
The American Olympic medalist, and first veiled American athlete at the Olympics, Ibtihaj Muhammad, has been caught flashing Nike’s Pro Hijab line several times.
