Qatar Airways will be giving transit travelers a free stay at a luxury hotel in Doha, here’s how you can make the best of it.

Together with the Qatar Tourism Authority, Qatar Airways will offer travelers who chose to spend a day in Qatar before continuing to their final destination a free night at one of the luxury hotels in Doha.

Since Hamad International Airport is the transit hub to all Qatar Airways flights, thousands of travelers arrive to the country just to wait for their next flight each day. However, transit travelers who stay inside the airport miss out on everything Qatar has to offer, but they don’t have to anymore.

The carrier will give international travelers willing to extend their transit period a complimentary stay at a high-end hotel, as well as a free transit visa. The hotels include The Four Seasons, Marriott Marquis, Radisson Blu and Oryx Rotana, some of which offer a second night for as low as $50.

While one day might seem like not enough time to fully experience the country, here are a some things you can do:

Shop & Dine

Entering a mall in Qatar is unlike any mall-experience in the world. Experience Culture
