This weekend, Qatar will be hosting the first ever World Anaqa Show, bringing in designers from all over the world under one roof.
The World Anaqa Show has kicked-off at Katara Hall, bringing Qatar designers from all over the world, along with the newest trends in fashion. The show will be presenting a perfect fusion between tradition Arab fashion and the latest global trends, reflecting the “overall look and feel of chic, clean, modern, and high-end fashion.”
Over the course of 6 days, the Anaqa show will be putting on discussions, conferences, exhibitions and runway shows, from some of the biggest local and international brands, as well as from local, aspiring designers, giving them space to showcase their talent.
Some of the fashion experts and designers present will be the Spanish designer Alejandro Resta and Qatari talent Thani Al-Mudahka, hair and makeup expert Fadia El Mendelek, as well as the fashion consultants at Qatar Fashion Makers.
The event will be having daily exhibitions from 10 PM to 10 PM until Monday, April 24, and will be hosting runway shows from 6 PM until 7 PM daily, with the exception of Thursday.
This is only the first we see from World Anaqa Show as the organizers promised to bring us more and aim to be part of top fashion events, both locally and internationally, over the next 5 years, according to their website.
