Star Wars: The Last Jedi Teaser Released

Star Wars: The Last Jedi poster

Last night fans got a look into the Episode 8 of the Star Wars saga. Here’s what we know about The Last Jedi.

The first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi has finally been released and people are going crazy. Opening room for more questions than answers, it reveals much, but yet so little.

The movie is a continuation to the The Force Awakens and will pretty much take off where the last one left us, with Luke Skywalker.

The teaser makes it clear that popular characters will be returning, including Daisy Ridley’s Rey, John Boyega’s Finn, Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren, and Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron, and even Mark Hamill is returning as Luke Skywalker. But unlike in Episode VII, Skywalker will actually speak in The Last Jedi.

The iconic role of Princess Leia/General Organa was played by Carrie Fisher, who unfortunately passed away last year.

Fans of the movie franchise all over the world expressed sadness and confusion around how the story will continue without her.

However, the producers have announced that her death will not change the story, and that she will be returning to her role as General Organa one last time in The Last Jedi using special effects and scenes filmed for The Last Jedi before.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will premiere worldwide on 15 December 2017 and is expected to dominate the box office during the holidays.
