Aspire Zone Foundation will be hosting their sixth annual Aspire Torch Staircase Run. Find out how you can register and compete.
This year’s Aspire Torch Staircase Run is something not to miss. Not only are they returning for their sixth consecutive year, but will be introducing some new upgrades this time around as well.
Taking place on Saturday, March 18, at the Torch hotel in Aspire Zone, open for runners aged 16 and above. The competition is divided into three classes, age group 16 to 17, 18 to 39, participants over the age of 40 in their own class, as well as an open category for the hotel’s very own staff.
To complete the Aspire Torch Staircase Run, runners will have to speed up a total of 1,304 stairs to reach the top of the 300 meter high tower’s 51st floor. The winners will be the ones who makes the painful run up in the shortest time possible.
The competition is open for both men and women, and supporters can come down and watch without having to buy any tickets or pay a fee.
To participate, you can register through A1 Registration, and will have to pay a participation fee of QR 150. The run will start at 2:00 PM on Saturday. See you there!
